Precog: Meet Asus' foldable device

Asus: As we have reported in the past, Microsoft is working on a new foldable device that will use two different displays that will work together and coexist through a flexible connector.

While everyone has something to say about Microsoft's foldable device, which will be called the Surface "Phone," we haven't seen any movement from the company that would suggest an imminent launch. On the other hand, different manufacturers seem to have followed a faster method. Asus, for example, recently introduced the Precog, a new model that combines two different screens.Asus

Precog is a device that supports various form factors that change depending on the angle and position of the two screens.

For example, it can be used as a regular laptop with one screen serving as a keyboard. So, unlike a traditional laptop with a screen and a keyboard, it uses two different screens and their roles automatically adapt to their position. It can also be used as a tablet, with both screens fully open.

The Precog comes with all sorts of super-innovative technologies, including what's called Intelligent Touch, which lets you adjust your settings on the fly. This means the interface automatically changes based on the angle and position of the screens.

Finally, let us emphasize that all Precog functions are possible thanks to Windows 10.
