Galaxy S9+: Bug prevents notifications from appearing for missed calls

The Samsung Galaxy S9+ is experiencing yet another bug. This time, it's failing to display notifications for missed calls. In other words, you can find your missed calls by manually going to the call log, as no notification will appear on the screen no matter how long you wait.

Although the cause of the problem has not yet been identified, what is most surprising to us is why the error only occurs on the Galaxy S9+ and not on the smaller version of the S9.

However, it has been observed that the issue is more prominent in Europe and was likely introduced with the March 2018 security update.

Note that the error does not affect every missed call, but occurs at random intervals.

Samsung has already been informed about the issue, but has not announced any possible update release or any way in which users can temporarily avoid the problem.Galaxy S9

Undoubtedly, this particular software bug can be fixed very easily, as long as the company first identifies the source of the problem. The only advice we can give, for now, is to not install the new security update until it is verified that it is not the cause of the malfunctioning notifications.

Below we attach some more bugs that have been recently identified in the Samsung Galaxy S9+.

  • Dead spots on the touch screen,
  • Samsung Pay service failure ,
  • very low brightness during slow-motion videos,
  • voice call recording failure.

Those of you who own an S9+ will need to be patient until the appropriate update is released that will rid you of these annoying bugs.
