Microsoft is recognized as one of the most ethical companies in the world

Microsoft has been named one of the most ethical companies in the world alongside 134 other organizations from 23 countries and 57 industries.

The 2018 chart of the World Wide Web's most ethical companies includes well-known names in the tech sector, such as Microsoft, LinkedIn, Adobe and Dell.

However, it is important to note that most of Microsoft's competitors, such as Apple and Google, are missing from this survey, while the software giant won top honors not only with its parent company, but also with LinkedIn, which it purchased two years ago.Microsoft

To determine whether a company deserves to be included on the list, what is called the Ethics Quotient is calculated, which is an objective score of each company's performance in five different categories: ethics and compliance program (35%), citizenship and responsibility (20%), culture of ethics (20%), governance (15%), and leadership, innovation and reputation (10%).

It goes without saying that Microsoft was pleased to be one of the 135 most ethical companies in the world and as it emphasized in a statement: “This is part of our DNA.”

“At Microsoft, trust and integrity are our core values and critical to our success. We are passionate about the power of technology and want to improve our world. That starts with doing business in a way that builds and maintains trust with our customers,” said Microsoft President Brad Smith.
