Doca is a Chinese company that focuses mainly on manufacturing chargers and power banks for mobile devices.
The company's most notable creation is a wireless car charger that is aimed at iPhone X, iPhone 8/8 Plus and Galaxy Note 8 S8/S8 Plus, S7 Edge. It also supports any other device that has wireless charging.
This magnetic wireless charger doesn't take up much space on your car's dashboard. It comes with a clip to attach to the air vent or a mount that uses adhesive to keep it firmly in place on the dashboard. It also comes with a rotating ball that allows for easy adjustment of the viewing angle.
Additionally, Doca's magnetic case has a built-in retractable USB cable which helps you avoid tangled cables around your car, although the case's clip is overly strong and pulls the cable back with quite a bit of force.
The box includes a very thin magnetic plate that you can easily place between the back of your phone and a case. A small piece of double-sided tape is also included to securely attach the plate to the back of the handset, while four strong magnets are placed in each corner to center your phone. The only thing you need is a case.
The device charges relatively quickly. Also, using the vent could damage the phone due to heat, so if you don't use the solid adhesive mount on the dashboard you need to be extra careful.
So, this is a little accessory worth trying if you want to wirelessly charge your device in the car. Just remember that your smartphone must support wireless charging, otherwise you'll have to look for another gadget!
