Microsoft is trying to make the Edge browser app available on multiple platforms and after its release on Android and iPhone, the company has started improving performance and fixing the first issues users encounter after its install.

The first stance is the iPhone. An updated version released for Microsoft Edge brings a ton of improvements, some of which will definitely be useful.
As it turns out, Microsoft was informed that the previous version of its Edge browser for iPhones was causing devices to overheat, which apparently caused significant battery drain without doing anything other than browsing the web. The company says it was aware of the bug, and this update should make performance smoother, without the battery overheating that users will experience after it.
Also, this updated version comes with improvements for left and right rotation to navigate between pages, and this is obviously useful because it enhances the overall browsing experience. This is especially useful on larger iPhone Plus models, where using the navigation buttons is not so easy to do.
The new version of Microsoft Edge for iPhone introduces support for actions and activities like sharing websites, saving locations to notes, or adding pages to Pocket. Microsoft is expected to add more goodies to this theme in future updates, so it's definitely good that the company is working on deeper integration with iOS.
It is obvious that Microsoft Edge is still in its early days on the iPhone, so users who install it may encounter bugs that have not been fixed, but that is why it is so important to report them to Microsoft so that everything can be improved in future updates.
