But if you want a simpler and faster way to do it, GE Appliance's FirstBuild has recently introduced a smart cake form, which can connect to the internet and can notify you when your cake is ready.
According to Larry Portaro, Director of FirstBuild, “This is the first known connection between baking equipment, ovens and smartphone apps, which allows anyone to bake the perfect cake based on the ideal final temperature of the food”.
So even amateur bakers will be able to make sure their cakes are baked to perfection. With technology like this, there will no longer be the risk of overbaking or underbaking a cake or dessert. Everything in our kitchen is getting smarter. And in this case at least, it leads to a perfectly baked dessert that will satisfy us every time. FirstBuild is expected to be available in early 2018 where it will be designed to be compatible with GE Appliances ovens. Bakers are sure to love this new tool.
