Harvard and MIT have developed a smart tattoo that, through sensors on your skin, informs you about your health status.

The new health tracker is unlike anything else on the market, as it is not an electrical device and requires absolutely no electrical power or wireless connection. The tattoo ink reacts with the chemical composition of your sweat and reflects the state of your blood.
For example, when the ink turns a green color that becomes increasingly intense, the athlete wearing it knows that they are dehydrated, while when the ink turns from green to brown, it is a warning for diabetics that their glucose levels are rising.
And unlike classic tattoos, it won't permanently scar your skin. It will only last for as long as you need it. It could even be invisible, so you won't have to explain to your friends that a tattoo is what you're wearing.
