Project Neptune: Triton and Aston Martin reveal their limited edition $4 million submarine

While several companies like Dyson, Google, and Facebook are interested in investing in the automotive sector, luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin has partnered with Triton Submarine to build a revolutionary submersible with a slim design, codenamed Project Neptune. The model is based on Triton's Low Profile (LP) platform, a lightweight and compact three-person submersible designed for large yachts.
Triton specializes in the design and construction of underwater vehicles such as submersibles and submarines, for research purposes, exploration and large yachts. While Aston Martin specializes in building supercars. Aston Martin Consulting, a division of Aston Martin Holdings Ltd., is involved in the design of luxury goods in the non-automotive category.
The monochromatic design of submarines in the defense sector, as well as their monotonous design, has remained unchanged for a long time. On the contrary, the new Aston Martin submarine has changed the perception of design and beauty, even for submarines. The launch date has not yet been announced, however, this submarine is going to be an exclusively limited edition, as a few dozen of it will be built per year.
