After the release of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, and while the world is starting to forget about the explosive Galaxy Note 7, the South Korean company has done its miracle again.
This time, it's Samsung TV owners' turn, as the company has reportedly released a firmware update to a number of its smart TVs.
Nothing wrong with the company's move, except that those who upgraded the firmware damaged their device, to the point that only a technician can restore it to full functionality.
Samsung's firmware update is for the company's latest models, such as the UE50MU6100K, UE49MU7070 , and MU6409.
This means that anyone who has one of these models and has it connected to the internet should avoid updates, at least until the company does something. At the moment, Samsung has not said anything, so it is unclear whether it will withdraw this particular update.
Currently, the company's customers complaining on forums claim that in most cases, TVs with the latest firmware update are unable to change the channel and some do not start at all, while the devices freeze with a black screen after displaying the Samsung startup screen.
We are still waiting for more information from the South Korean company and will update the article as soon as there is any clarification.
