Enigma: An unknown hacker appears to have stolen $470,000 worth of Ethereum so far . Ethereum, for those who don't know, is one of the most popular cryptocurrencies.
The hacker managed to steal the popular digital currency when he successfully breached the also popular Ethereum investment trading platform called Enigma.
According to an announcement made on their official website an hour ago, an “unknown” person managed to hack their website, stealing their accounts. Immediately afterwards, they also published a fake ETH pre-sale website.
The hacker or hackers also sent emails with the Enigma newsletter asking for money to sell digital currencies. So many victims sent their cryptocurrencies to the hackers' address.
Etherscan, a popular search engine for the Ethereum Blockchain that allows users to search, confirm, and validate their transactions easily, has already flagged the payment address as malicious, but there are many who are still sending ETH to the address below:

So far, the hackers have managed to grab over 1,487,90 Ether and are still receiving payments.
The hackers allegedly struck a few days after the publication of an article by Enigma, which attempted to educate its users on avoiding phishers, scammers, and spammers.
“As we work hard to build the future, encrypt, and invest, we’ll take a few minutes to talk about security,” the Enigma Project post said.
“Due to our rapid growth, our community has become a target. The worst elements of the crypto scene, scammers and phishers, are attracted to projects and communities like ours.”.
The above incident marks the fifth Ethereum theft in two months:
$8.4 million worth of Ethereum during Veritaseum's initial coin offering (ICO).
$32 million worth of Ethereum from Parity's Ethereum coin accounts.
$7 million worth of Ethereum during trading of Israeli ICO CoinDash.
$1 million worth of Ethereum on crypto exchange Bithumb.
At present, it is unclear how the attackers managed to enter the Enigma network.
