Philips expands S7 and V7 series

MMD, the brand license partner of Philips monitors, is expanding its S7 and V7 series. These two series offer stunning images to businesses and home users looking for high-performance monitors at a good price. The V7-line is the basic series with all the necessary features for productive work, while the S7-line incorporates some additional premium features.

The comprehensive S7-line includes 3 variants in 21.5 inches and 3 variants in 23.8 inches. The comprehensive V7-line offers an even wider range of choices, with 2 variants in 21.5 inches, namely 4 models in 23.8” and 4 in 27”. Both lines are equipped with technologies oriented towards eye health during prolonged screen use.Philips S7 and V7
Powerful and easy to use, the S7 and V7 monitor lines offer the right combination of performance, essential features and affordability. They make working time in front of the screen easier, more productive and more budget-friendly for home users, as well as public and private businesses - from call centers to schools, libraries and offices.

Both Philips monitor series feature innovations typically found in higher-end models. Even at first glance, the S7 monitors are purpose-built to impress, with a slimmer bezel and stand that create a clean and minimalist look while taking up significantly less desk space. The latest models in the S7 and V7 series are all bezel-less on three sides. In addition to looking good, the slim design is invaluable for applications that require two monitors to be placed side by side. The “connection” between the monitors is barely noticeable, creating the impression of one large screen for better comparisons and increased productivity.

With Full HD resolution and the wide viewing angle offered by IPS technology, the panels of both series deliver a clear and sharp image, even when viewed from the side. The position of the screen is adjustable for greater comfort, specifically the S7-line stand allows the screen to be tilted, rotated and adjusted to the right angle. The V-line monitors all have the ability to tilt.

User-centric features to boost efficiency and promote well-being
The S7-line and V7-line displays are built to handle the downsides of intensive use, with the right features to help users be as productive as they can, for as long as they need to be, says Artem Khomenko, Product Manager Philips Displays Europe at MMD, adding: “These displays have been designed with a set of important features to make long hours of screen use more productive.”

All S7 series monitors now feature the innovative SoftBlue LED technology as a key feature. Research has shown that the blue light waves emitted by LED monitors can potentially affect vision over time. This issue is addressed by the SoftBlue technology built into the monitor hardware. Without changing the color or image, SoftBlue technology reduces harmful blue light waves. The V7 series monitors feature a similar technology, the LowBlue light function. LowBlue light is a software function that reduces harmful LED blue light.

Other eye-friendly features include EasyRead (S7 and V7 series), which creates a “newspaper-like” reading experience for multi-page documents, and SmartContrast (S7 and V7 series), which automatically adjusts colors and backlight intensity depending on the content displayed on the screen – for example, the optimal settings for a spreadsheet are very different from those for viewing a video.
In line with the needs of professional users, the S7 displays are equipped with additional features. Built-in stereo speakers ensure a multimedia experience with excellent sound for activities such as video conferencing, while Flicker-Free technology adjusts brightness and reduces flickering for even more comfortable viewing.
