Do you dedicate 23 days a year to constructive moments with your own people?
Studies report that on average, people worldwide spend about 90 minutes a day on their mobile phones. Although 90 minutes may not sound like much, this usage amounts to 23 days a year and if we extend it further, we can roughly conclude that we spend about 4 whole years of our lives in front of the smartphone screen!
It should be noted that out of the total time spent using a mobile phone, the time we spend on phone calls is in sixth place. First place is taken by browsing the internet, followed by using applications, checking social media, gaming, and then comes the original reason for its creation, phone calls.
Did you also know that mobile device sales per day amount to several million worldwide and that 2 out of 3 people in Greece have a smartphone?
It is clear that smartphones have become indispensable in our daily lives and have replaced many of our traditional devices and habits. We use them everywhere - whether as a flashlight, to find a recipe, as an alarm clock, or simply to check the time!
As if that weren't enough, in recent years more and more users have been using apps that play sounds that improve sleep quality or facilitate this process. Therefore, the use and dependence on our mobile phones is gradually becoming even greater.
From the above, we come to a question that may be frightening..
In 10 years from now, how many days a year will we spend on our devices?
