AOC is expanding its monitor range with two new standout models. In collaboration with the world-renowned design house Studio F. A. Porsche , the new 24” AOC PDS 241 and 27” AOC PDS 271 models redefine every user expectation.
Equipped with a 3-sided frameless AH - IPS panel , an asymmetrical metal stand and a minimalist ultra - slim design , the two new AOC monitors are eye-catching even when switched off. The PDS 241 and PDS 271 are the first PC monitors with a modular design that combine power and HDMI outputs in a single cable coming from the stand itself, thus drawing all the attention and admiration to the minimalist display. 
Beyond their impressive appearance, they feature AH – IPS panels enriched with AOC SuperColor WCG technology that cover a wide color gamut and provide the widest possible viewing angles. 
Innovative, slim and elegant design
When two legends meet, amazing things can happen. The renowned specialist monitor company AOC and the legendary design house Studio FA Porsche have teamed up to bring the most beautiful monitors to the market. The design philosophy behind this monitor is inspired by the philosophy of Ferdinand Alexander Porsche. According to his approach, “If you analyze the function of an object, its form becomes apparent.” In its simplest form, a monitor is just a screen. But in reality, this simplistic view is obscured by bulky stands and lots of cables hanging from the back. The new AOC PDS series of monitors redefines the traditional approach to monitor design.

The 24” PDS241 and 27” PDS271 monitors will appeal to any style-conscious user, such as business executives, designers and artists. On the front, the asymmetrical metal stand emphasizes the 3-sided frameless design. Viewed from the side, the monitors are thinner than the latest smartphones, measuring just 5.2 mm thick. Studio FA Porsche designed the monitors to stand out with their elegant appearance even from the back – both the power and the display signal pass through the stand that leads to a separate box. As a result, the clean look embodies what a monitor should be – just a screen.

Wide color gamut and wide viewing angles
Even when turned off, the 24” PDS241 and 27” PDS271 monitors are eye-catching. But they really shine when turned on, thanks to the latest AH-IPS panels that offer 1920×1080 pixels in Full HD resolution with ultra-wide viewing angles of 178°. AOC SuperColor WCG technology enables the monitors to cover 100% sRGB and 90% of the NTSC color gamut.
Eye-friendly
For those who literally can't take their eyes off these monitors, they are both equipped with AOC Low Blue Light and AOC Flicker-Free technologies. AOC Low Blue Light technology reduces harmful short-wavelength blue light. On the other hand, AOC Flicker-Free technology regulates the brightness of the display with a DC (Direct Current) backlight system instead of PWM (Pulse Width Modulation), thus relieving eye fatigue even during long periods of use. An HDMI port allows users to connect everything from desktops and laptops to game consoles and set-top boxes, while the audio output allows them to connect headphones or speakers.
AOC's PDS241 and PDS271 models will be available in June 2017, with a suggested retail price of €219 and €299 respectively.
