Chinese companies have become famous for creating clones of super-popular devices like mobile phones and tablets, and now it's Cube's turn to create something that looks like a Microsoft Surface Pro 4.
Called the iWork 3X, the new 2-in-1 tablet looks like a Microsoft Surface at first glance, but looking at the features it becomes clear that it doesn't have the features of a Surface.
First of all, the device is based on the same approach as the Microsoft Surface, so it's essentially a tablet that turns into a laptop when connected to a keyboard.
There's no word on pen support for the Chinese device, but on the other hand it does come with a built-in kickstand that gives it a laptop-like feel, although that's only useful when the keyboard is plugged in. According to Liliputing, the keyboard is sold separately, though pricing information is not yet available.
As for the specs, Microsoft Surface owners will definitely laugh when they see this. The device comes with a quad-core Intel Celeron N3450 processor which can't even compare to the Intel Core i-series found in the Surface, but which will be able to run Windows 10 just fine.
Apart from that, there are some pretty good specs, like 6GB DDR3 memory, 128GB SSD storage, microSD for more storage, and an 8,500 mAh battery that should easily provide 6 hours of battery life.
As for pricing, the Chinese device will cost around $290 in the local market, while the international price is said to be around $360. This makes the device a very affordable Surface clone, although there is no doubt that the device is value for money.
