The Samsung Galaxy S8 is one of the anticipated smartphone devices that will be announced next month and information regarding the upcoming device continues to emerge. Yesterday an image of the Galaxy S8 leaked online and reveals that the phone could have customization options for the on-screen buttons.
Samsung will replace the home button on the upcoming ναυαρχίδα phone and replace the physical buttons with onscreen capacitive. Leaked images show how these buttons could look and Android Police noted that they could actually be customizable.
The onscreen buttons on the two possible Galaxy S8 phones appear to have different layouts. One model shows the back key on the left while the other reveals the back key to be placed on the right side. The rear capacitive key on the Galaxy S7 and 7S edge phones is located on the right compared to smartphones running Android.
Nothing is certain until the phone is officially announced on March 29. But if Samsung makes this move, it wouldn't be the only smartphone maker to do so. LG has offered robust customization options for onscreen navigation keys, and some phones with physical capacitive buttons allow users to change their functions.
Huawei 's Emotion UI is another example that allows users to choose a combination of navigation buttons from four possible options. Samsung's Galaxy S8 and S8+ will certainly come with many innovations, including the rumored virtual assistant Bixby.
Additionally, the phones appear to be running the latest Android Nougat version and have GB RAM and the latest Snapdragon 835 SoC processor from Qualcomm. They are expected to have 5.8‑inch and 6.2‑inch Quad HD screens and 64 GB internal storage, as well as IP68 certification for water and dust damage.
