As we have mentioned in our previous articles, Samsung, after the Galaxy Note 7 , is pinning all its hopes on the upcoming Galaxy S8, which it hopes will regain consumer confidence and cover the financial losses that resulted. A new report now reveals that the Galaxy S8 will include a “Beast Mode” feature.
H Samsung has stated that the “Beast Mode” function will be integrated into the new smartphone without however providing further details on the matter. If we judge by the name it could be a function that speeds up the phone's performance including games.
Recently Samsung added to the Nougat beta for the Galaxy S7 the “Games” and “High-Performance” features that provide an improved phone performance in games while also navigating multiple apps. The “Beast Mode” function could work complementarily with these.
Logically, more information regarding the new feature will be revealed in the coming weeks as the official presentation of the Galaxy S8 approaches, which will not take place in February as was expected. Instead, rumors suggest that it will be presented at the company's special event in April in New York. Samsung naturally will not launch its new model as it seeks to perfect it before the big premiere.
The new Galaxy S8 is rumored to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset or Exynos processor. It will likely have 8GB of RAM, a curved display, no home button, and a fingerprint scanner on the back.
