The holidays are fast approaching and Instagram has decided to bring something special for its users and has added Christmas stickers to Stories. These new features come with new customizable tools to make Stories stand out.
Instagram Stories has been updated with fun Christmas stickers. All you need to do to discover them is take a photo or video and then tap the button next to the text and drawing tool. The app has also introduced customizable stickers for the weather, current time, and your location.
You just need to select or search for your location to add such a sticker. The Story won't appear on the location page, but your friends can tap on the sticker to learn more about the location.
You can also make your own stickers, move them around, choose from different styles, and resize them. The new feature doesn't limit the number of stickers you can add.
Instagram has also launched a series of holiday stickers that will be available in the app over the next few weeks. The candy cane brush is available among the drawing tools and makes your photos “pop out.” Stickers to mark the New Year will be available over the coming days.
In addition to stickers, Instagram announced that it has released a new “Hands-Free” feature for recording videos with a single tap. Users no longer need to press and hold the button to record video, the feature makes it easier to capture moments and share them on the network.
Additionally, iOS users can save their entire story from the last 24 hours to the camera roll as a single video. Recently, Instagram updated with a new version that lets you save posts to watch later.
