We all pretty much know by now about Samsung's new A series that is expected to be released next year. The smartphones that will form the core of the new series are the Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and the Galaxy A7. Today, we will take a closer look at one of the three new devices, the Galaxy A7.
The A7 is the best in terms of hardware specifications compared to the other three devices. According to rumors, it will be powered by an octa-core Exynos 7880 processor combined with 3GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of internal storage via microSD card . The good news is that these rumors have recently been confirmed by official sources that have leaked online.
The confirmed specifications of the new A7 have also been added to the following: It will feature a 5.7-inch display with full HD (1080p) resolution which will be covered by Corning Gorilla Glass for more protection. Another strong point will be the 16-megapixel with LED flash and 1.9 aperture rear camera as well as the equally impressive 16-megapixel front camera. In addition, it will be powered by a 3600 mAh battery, will feature a USB Type-C port, dual-SIM support and a fingerprint sensor.
The published table with the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A7 states that it will offer a waterproof design and an aluminum frame while its back side will be covered with glass.
Opinions about the software system it will have are still divided. While many claim that it will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, others believe that Android 7.0 Nougat will have its due in 2017 on the new Samsung Galaxy A7
