Apple recently revealed the most downloaded app of 2016, and the top spot comes as no surprise to those who were in the know: Snapchat.
As if we needed any more proof that Evan Spiegel's app had its best year yet, Snapchat knocked out Facebook, Instagram, and Pokémon Go, making it the most popular free app on the App Store for 2016, according to Apple.
While much of the list is no surprise, as Facebook, Instagram, Google Maps, and YouTube are consistently at the top of the App Store, the order may be less expected. Facebook, Messenger (which currently has an average App Store rating of just three stars), took second place, while the huge summer hit Pokémon Go came in third.
Snapchat was also on last year's list, but it only ranked at number 5 (Trivia Crack, which was number 1 in 2015, didn't even make this year's top 10 list.)
Here's the full list, according to Apple:
Snapchat
Messenger
Pokémon GO
YouTube
Google Maps
Pandora
Netflix
Spotify Music
When it comes to paid apps, they are much more diverse, with Heads Up! taking the top spot (for the second year in a row) and Face Swap Live and Minecraft: Pocket Edition following.
Apple also announced its editorial picks for the best apps of the year. Photo app Prisma was announced as the best iPhone of the year, while Clash Royale was named best iPhone game.
