20 years later, someone broke the Sega Saturn DRM

The Sega Saturn have started to disappear. The older among you will remember Sega's revolutionary console, and those who still have it will be somewhere gathering dust. The machine is essentially useless. Sega Saturn

Researcher James Laird-Wah managed to break the Sega's 32-bit hardware, allowing games to be loaded via USB.

Laird-Wah is known online as Dr Abrasive, and he has created a USB-powered ROM reader he calls Drag 'n Derp.

The news was revealed on YouTube with a video that features an exhaustive interview with Laird-Wah.
