Google has updated the stable version of Chrome (49.0.2623.108), implementing five fixes for security vulnerabilities discovered at this year's Pwn2Own hacking competition held in Vancouver, Canada, a week ago.
During the competition, the Chrome development team documented the exploits, and a week later, the company released today's update that fixes not only the security vulnerabilities presented in Pwn2Own, but also three new security issues reported by independent researchers as well as a bug discovered by the same company's researchers (CVE-2016-1650).
You can download the new version of Chrome directly from your application, or from the official download page.
