The upcoming Huawei P9 may not have been unveiled at MWC 2016, but we know that the smartphone will hit the market in the first half of the year.
According to rumors, the upcoming smartphone will be released in four variants. Each of these versions will have different specifications and, obviously, different prices.
Today, the first clear images of the Huawei P9 were released by VentureBeat. The publication also includes a full list of the device's features.
As we mentioned earlier, the P9 will be available in four different variants, and the photos probably show the cheapest version.
It has a 5.2-inch capacitive touchscreen that supports full HD (1080p).
It uses an octa-core Kirin 950 processor, coupled with a Mali-T880 graphics processing unit and 3GB of RAM.
Additionally, the budget Huawei P9 will have 32GB of storage, and to date there is no report of a microSD card slot for memory expansion.
The good news is the P9 will be powered by a high-capacity battery at 3,900 mAh.
The back features a dual-lens camera setup. Both cameras include a pair of 12-megapixel sensors and Leica lenses.
The Huawei P9 will have a USB Type-C port and a fingerprint scanner on the back. It will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
