This is a strange case where a fugitive was not happy with the photo the police had published and sent them a selfie to change it.
Donald “Chip” Pugh, who had a warrant out for his arrest on suspicion of arson and vandalism, sent a selfie to the Lima Police Department in Ohio, USA. In the attached message, he wrote: “This is the best photo of you, the awful one.”
The police published his new selfie photo on their Facebook page , writing the following:
“This photo was sent to us by Mr. Pugh himself. We thank him for his assistance, but now we would appreciate it if he would come to LPD to speak to us about his case.”.
Pugh said in an interview with local Ohio radio station 104.9 FM: "Man, they just didn't show me right. They put a picture out there that made me look like I was a Thundercat ... or James Brown after a run. I can't stand that."
Lima police announced yesterday that Pugh has already been arrested in Florida.
