The Samsung Galaxy S6 is referred to as the company's best smartphone and is considered a device far superior to all those released to date.
As it turns out, not everyone agrees on this. For example, Consumer Reports released a video demonstrating why the Samsung Galaxy S5 is better than the Galaxy S6.
The video insists on the older model despite the better features that the Galaxy S6 brings. Let's recall that the new device from the Korean company comes with a premium metal-glass frame, an all-new octa-core 64-bit Exynos 7420, and a QHD display.
However, Consumer Reports doesn't seem to be impressed and focuses more on the features the Galaxy S6 lacks rather than the innovations it brings.
The publication denounces Samsung's decision to remove several important features from the Galaxy S6, such as IP67 dust protection, waterproofing capabilities, a removable battery, and a microSD card slot.
Another important factor for them is battery life, whose performance on the Galaxy S6 is much lower than that of the Galaxy S5.
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S6 compensates for this aspect by bringing the feature of Qi fast charging and Powermat for wireless charging.
The publication also reports that Samsung has made the Galaxy S6 very similar to the iPhone, both on the inside and outside.
Consumer Reports also highlights the fact that the South Korean company did not add a microSD card slot and a removable battery to the latest Galaxy, giving its competitors room to offer what they lack in their own devices.
