Three of Adobe's software (Reader, Acrobat, and Flash) are notorious targets for hackers. The company continues to patch security holes, and it seems to be doing so without success, as some are closed and others are opened.

Today Adobe announced upcoming cross-platform security updates for Adobe Reader and Acrobat that will be released next Tuesday (May 12).
The updated versions for Windows and Mac of Adobe Reader XI (11.0.10, 10.1.13)and Adobe Acrobat XI (11.0.10, 10.1.13) fix unspecified critical vulnerabilities in the software (the company does not report them for obvious reasons, as if those concerned are not aware of them).
Adobe places these security bugs at Severity Level “2”, just below the most serious security bugs.
Adobe software , as mentioned above, has been a favorite target of hackers for quite some time now.
With the vulnerabilities they are constantly discovering, they can and do carry out targeted spear phishing and cyber-espionage attacks.
Details about the vulnerabilities will be published once the patches are released next Tuesday.
