In case you haven't heard of it, the Pillar of Autumn is a giant spaceship that is inextricably linked to Halo, as it has starred in some epic moments in both the first Halo and Halo: Reach.
Without a doubt, the Pillar of Autumn is the most famous ship from the Halo universe and a very fanatical fan of the Master Chief world did not hesitate to spend $7,000 to recreate the Pillar of Autumn, using exclusively Lego bricks!
Lee Jones spent about 3.5 years of his life building the massive Lego version of Pillar of Autumn, and the final result (as you can see from the photos below) was well worth it. His creation is 2 meters and 15 centimeters and weighs close to 100 kilograms.
Lee didn't count how many Lego bricks he used to build the massive spaceship from the Halo universe, but to spend close to $7,000, that means he relied on thousands of Lego blocks.
His creation, no matter how we make it, is, in a word, impressive, while the point of the Lego version of Pillar of Autumn that undoubtedly steals the show is the engines , which are designed to perfection.
Check out the photos and the video below, which sheds more light on the construction of this admittedly amazing Lego spaceship..
