A new feature is currently being tested on YouTube. The new service the popular website is preparing will allow users to quickly create GIFs from videos they are interested in.
As mentioned above, it is currently in beta on the PBS Idea Channel. The new feature allows you to create GIFs by simply clicking on the share button, selecting the part of the video you are interested in converting.
The maximum length currently allowed is five seconds, and you will be able to add your own text to the top or bottom of the GIF automatically.
Hopefully, the tests will end quickly and we will see the new feature on the rest of YouTube.
