Electrozyme. Biosensors in a temporary tattoo

Most similar wearables on the market can keep track of how many calories you’ve eaten or count how many steps you’ve taken and how many calories you’ve burned. But the Electrozyme is a fitness tracker with a different twist. And don’t be scared by the word tattoo, it won’t hurt when you wear it, as that’s actually a term used to describe a “sensor on a printed electrochemical platform.”

Basically what we have here is some biosensors that are capable of analyzing a user's sweat and coming up with a conclusion related to hydration, electrolyte levels, muscle fatigue, and so on. The best part is that the tattoo can be printed to look like anything you like and once you're done with it, you can simply wash it off. So seriously consider showing up at a gym with weights and having a biosensor tattooed on your inflated arm that says I love you Mom!!!

If you don't like looking down at your phone while trying to figure out which way to turn to get to your destination and want a more sophisticated yet intuitive way to get directions, then let Lechal enchant you with its interesting proposal. Connect the smart shoes to Google Maps via Bluetooth and as you walk, the left or right shoe will vibrate to show you where you need to go.

Motorola: Password on a pill

Are you a total freak with your security codes? Do you set incredibly long passwords on your favorite sites or devices that you find annoying and make it hard to remember them? Are you looking for ways to ensure that hackers won't get your hands on them? (Editor's note: are you reading me, George?). Motorola has a strange solution to your security problem that might shock you a little.

Wearable

You have to swallow a code pill that essentially turns the host into an identity token. After swallowing, the following magic begins to happen. The acid in your stomach will start interacting with the anti-theft pill and will create an 18-bit electrocardiogram (ECG) signal that is powerful enough to unlock a smartphone or other gadget. However, it has not yet received approval from the FDA (Food and Drug Administration of the United States), so we are not yet sure that it is safe enough for our health. However, this miracle pill is ready to hit store shelves as soon as it gets approval.

MIT: Imagination Sensor

Is it not enough for you to just use your imagination when reading a book, and you want something more? Then imagination sensors may be the thing that will make the difference. The program was developed by MIT and promises to reflect the atmosphere of a book by suggesting that you wear a vest-device that is capable of stimulating physical sensations in relation to the events taking place in the book at any given moment.

Wearable

Of course, the list of strange digital wearables doesn't end here. The imagination of manufacturers seems to have no limits and they will surely surprise us for quite some time. Anyway, if any of you own such an object, we wish you good luck!
