SIGN ONLINE TODAY SUPPORTING THE CREATION OF A PEDOPHILE LOCATION APPLICATION (PEDOTARGET).
SecNews announces the start of a signature collection campaign for IMMEDIATE legislative regulation regarding the full disclosure of information about pedophiles or persons who have been reported to the authorities for crimes against children.
As we announced in a previous post , hundreds of families are demanding the creation of an application (APP) for mobile phones that will allow for constant information and the determination of the location of pedophiles or persons with delinquent behavior against children.
SecNews, in collaboration with organizations, independent researchers & IT engineers (who offer their knowledge on a non-profit basis), has already created the necessary technical conditions for the development, expansion and distribution of the application under the name PedóTarget.
The issue of creating the application, however, is hampered by the lack of legislative regulation for the full publication of pedophile data. The editorial team decided to conduct a campaign to collect signatures on the issue and to notify them to the competent authorities. Due to the dimensions that pedophilia and child pornography have taken in Greece, we hold those responsible accountable for the IMMEDIATE and SUBSTANTIAL legislative resolution of the issue as soon as possible!
The application (PedoTarget) includes at least the following features:
- list of all those arrested for child pornography who have been convicted.
- photographs of them at the time of arrest so that their faces are known to the general public.
- immediate update of the application with every new arrest by the authorities in real time (equivalent to Amber Alert).
- Locating a residence through geolocation services so that each parent knows if there is a pedophile nearby.
- possibility of sending information regarding pedophiles from parents or children.
- immediate communication with the authorities to deal with emergency situations.
What do we ask from the Greek State and the authorities?
In order for the creation of the PedóTarget application to be possible, EXTREMELY necessary and essential legislative regulation regarding the publication of all data on pedophiles that have concerned the authorities
Specifically, the full disclosure of pedophiles' details (full identity details, residence details, employment and photographic material) will allow:
- The creation of a public database of pedophiles accessible by anyone via the internet.
- The creation of the PedóTarget application to inform families and protect children
- The collection and exchange of information between public sector bodies regarding persons who have committed crimes against children
- Sending anonymous or named information-complaints regarding cases of pedophilia or delinquent behavior related to children.
We ask for EVERYONE's contribution to the collection of 5,000 electronic signatures,in order to allow the publication of pedophile data with the aim of creating the PedóTarget application for the protection of families, sensitive population groups (children) and the wider society.
All signatures will be made public to the following recipients:
- Supreme Court Prosecutor's Office
- Head of the Appeals Prosecutor's Office
- Head of the First Instance Prosecutor's Office
- Ministry of Public Order & Citizen Protection
- Prosecution of Cybercrime
- Personal Data Protection Authority
