A new technology could revolutionize the way we charge our smartphones, laptops and tablets in about two years from now. If all goes as planned by StoreDot, a Tel Aviv-based start-up, in about two years we will have chargers capable of charging our electronic devices in a flash.

For the record, the company released a video showing the StoreDot charger in action.
The revolutionary charger uses “biological semiconductors, made from natural organic compounds called peptides,” according to the Wall Street Journal.
The WSJ reports that the StoreDot charger uses amino acid chains to speed up charging times.
“The prototype charger is currently the size of a laptop charger, but the company says it will reduce its size. The estimated cost will be double that of a regular phone charger. StoreDot says commercial production is planned for late 2016.”
