After quite some time, it seems that Google is preparing a major redesign of the appearance of its services and applications.
Screenshots leaked by 9to5Google reveal the new look of the Gmail app for Android devices , with a flatter design and more color.
The company's goal is to bring to the forefront the content that truly interests the user.
At the same time, this change is considered necessary in order to integrate its new products such as Google Now, Google Glass and Android Wear.
The changes will be applied to all of Google's core services across all platforms (desktop, iOS, Android, etc.) in a single framework, which shows that Google has been preparing this app integration for some time.
The changes are expected to be presented in detail at the Google I/O 2014 (June 25-26).
