Let's record, and let's fix Athens with City of Errors

A social network of people who recognize the mistakes in the cities they live in and make or would like to do something about it is what the volunteer group City Of Errors, led by Myrto Papadogeorgou, is attempting to create: " City of Errors is an active and substantial solution to the countless small problems of our city, at least those that are created by us, the citizens ourselves. Although we do not believe that our group has the superpower needed to change an entire city, we are confident that City of Errors can creatively educate younger citizens, capture a part of our society that has not raised its hands and create a global network of citizens who resist the decline and abandonment of urban centers."

In their effort to transform it into an interactive platform for those who find, confront, and correct the mistakes in the big cities they live in, they turned to Indiegogo for funding for the project from all of us, a campaign that is in its 23rd day (goal to raise 16,000 euros).

The City of Errors app is now available for free on the AppStore for iPhone/iPad users and with the contribution from Indiegogo, the same will be done for "netizens who transform into citizens" on Android. Users can share videos and photos from the City of Errors and are rewarded for it in various imaginative ways, but most importantly, they contribute to the vision for a better city.

The stated goal of the City of Errors is mainly to develop an application that will be addressed to educational institutions, in order to create the appropriate conditions for children to get to know and become familiar with the city: through processes of play, imagination and ingenuity.

City of Errors has been awarded the Doc On Air award, has been included in the newsletter of the General Federal Agency for Civic Education https://nece.lab-concepts.de/ as a good practice and in January 2014 was declared one of the best city blogs in the world by the Guardian https://www.theguardian.com/cities/interactive/2014/jan/27/best-city-blogs-interactive
