"Panic" on the Internet after Twitter's 20-minute outage

Many users of the popular social media platform, Twitter, experienced major connection problems, as the platform crashed worldwide for more than twenty minutes.

Also, Twitter may have only been down for 20 minutes, however, many users experienced major connection problems for more than 45 minutes.

The company confirmed the existence of the problem and informed users that they are working to fix the problem, however, this is the longest period that the popular medium has been out of service since 2013.
