As it seems, the developers have accepted a proposalto integrate a very useful boot repair tool into the installation ISO (Boot Repair).
You may have installed Ubuntu before or after Windows and needed a boot repair tool for your computer. Until now, there is no such tool, so you have to use another Live CD to be able to enter your computer. Friends of the Ubuntu thought that it could be done much easier if the tool was included in the installation or test ISO.
