Today, TechSmith released a new update for Camtasia Studio, a screen recording and video editing program.
With version 8.2 of Camtasia Studio you can now add media files directly from Google Drive, and also allow you to share videos from this service.
The functionality of the suite has been increased with several minor fixes. As a result, in version 8.2 the program will no longer occasionally “crash” when drawing waveforms for some audio clips.
Another issue resolved in the current revision is the software crashing when trying to import unsupported file types.
The program is not free, it costs 282.00 euros including VAT, and you can download it for a trial period of 30 days.
However, those of you who won the Camtasia Studio 8.1.1 version from the recent iGuRu contest, from here and from here, you can enter your program and upgrade to 8.2 completely free of charge.
