Microsoft has just released an update for Windows 8.1. The new update, which comes with the code KB2902892, fixes bugs affecting the version of Skype on Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2.
“When you run Skype from the Windows App Store on Windows 8.1 or Windows Server 2012 R2, the app immediately quits, and Windows returns to the Start screen,” Microsoft says. “This occurs when the computer is using an Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000 (Sandy Bridge) graphics card.”
You can download the update from Windows Update, or from the official website.
