A recent Adobe data breach exposed account information and caused quite a stir after password reset emails were leaked by the thousands. The company reportedly said that at least 38 million account details were leaked. It seems that Photoshop source code has been added to the already massive leak of Adobe product source code.
post on AnonNews.org reported that hackers had managed to steal about 3 million encrypted credit card records of the company’s customers, as well as login information for an unspecified number of user accounts.
Last weekend, AnonNews.org posted a massive file, “users.tar.gz,” that appears to contain more than 150 million Adobe usernames and passwords. The file is 3.8 GB.
Adobe spokeswoman Heather Edell said the company has contacted all existing users whose logins and encrypted passwords were stolen.
“So far, our investigation has confirmed that the attackers have gained access to the Adobe IDs and encrypted passwords of approximately 38 million active users,” Edell said.
