Microsoft has finally officially announced that Windows 8.1 version RTM, revealing that OEMs can get their hands on the new operating system.
Windows 8.1 is expected to be officially unveiled in its final version on October 18th.
The operating system appears to bring many changes for features that disappointed with Windows 8, such as a Start button that is supposed to make the platform much more familiar to users coming from older versions of Windows.
Microsoft, however, insists on emphasizing Windows 8.1 features aimed at touch devices, as it is already preparing the second-generation Surface tablet that could be presented in October, along with the new operating system.
We hope that after a year with the change of CEO that the company is preparing to make, it will understand that external changes to an operating system will not get it out of the difficult position it has been in lately. Innovation does not come with rehashed old ideas. It needs new revolutionary solutions that will make the buying public consider their desire a need.
