The Syrian Electronic Army has hacked the official blog of Channel 4, a popular British television service channel.
The hackers have posted a screenshot to prove they have gained admin access to Channel 4. But they didn't stop there as they managed to deface the website's homepage.
Channel 4 has, of course, shut down the website and so far it has not returned.
They announced the attack on Twitter, on a new account as Twitter constantly tries to close their accounts when it discovers them.

“#SEA hacks Channel 4 blog, They hired an admin to stay up all night on the website to try and stop us,” they said on Twitter.
E Hacking News reports that the hackers did not have difficulty hacking Channel 4 because it was using an old version of WordPress.
