Microsoft's Surface RT tablet isn't exactly doing so well in sales, but the company claims everything is going according to plan in Japan.
Microsoft launched its new tablet in Japan in February 2013 and says sales are going so well that they are on track to surpass Apple's iPad.
Microsoft Taiwan General Manager Davis Tsai made the announcement a few days ago, according to Digitimes . While he didn't provide sales figures, he said that it took the Surface RT just six weeks to take a bigger market share than the iPad.
Of course, in this constant marketing “war”, any statements don’t mean anything. Let’s not forget Steve Ballmer’s statement that Microsoft made a huge mistake with the Surface RT tablet.
