When will the next beta of iOS 7 be released is a very good question that those of you who have already run the first beta of the software on your iPhone, whether you are a developer or not, surely have.
So, doing our calculations, we believe that iOS 7 Beta 2 will be available next Monday, the 24th of the month. The gold version of iOS 7 will be available on September 10, the same day that the iPhone 5S will be announced. The iPhone 5S and iOS 7 will be available on September 20.
Based on the graph and our reasoning above, we have:
- Beta 1 – duration 14.75 days
- Beta 2 – duration 15.4 days
- Beta 3 – duration 15 days
- Beta 4 – duration 18.6 days
- Beta 5 – duration 17.8 days
- Beta 6 – duration 11 days
So if Apple stays true to this iOS 7 timeline as it has in the past, we have:
- Beta 2 – Monday, June 24
- Beta 3 – Wednesday, July 10
- Beta 4 – Thursday, July 25
- Beta 5 – Monday, August 12
- Beta 6 – Friday, August 30
- Gold Master – Thursday, September 10
- iOS 7 Final – Friday, September 20
