The most anticipated product in the world of technology is, without a doubt, the "smart" wristwatch. Rumors about Apple's iWatch have been circulating for months, while Motorola, Google, Microsoft, Samsung and many other "giants" are giving (or at least preparing) answers.
However, there is only one wearable smartwatch at the moment. And it is called GEAK Watch. It is manufactured by the Chinese company Shanda, one of the biggest players in the online gaming world, and will be released on the Chinese market in early July for 1,999 yen (245 euros). It runs on Android 4.1 and integrates 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi to download applications. It has Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, GPS and FM radio, and it also has an external speaker. It draws power from a 1GHz MIPS architecture processor and has 1GB of RAM. The thermometer, pedometer, calorimeter and various other sensors that measure temperature, blood pressure and even heart rate are impressive!
The GEAK Watch has a 1.55-inch touchscreen, which is waterproof with an IPX3 certificate. Needless to say, through a special Shanda application, the watch will work seamlessly with your Android phone.
