Nuance CEO confirms his company is behind Apple's Siri

sirikeepasecret

Yesterday, in an interview he gave at the D11 conference, Nuance CEO Paul Ricci confirmed that his company is indeed behind Apple's voice command service, our well-known Siri.

Since 2011, when Siri first appeared as an exclusive service on the iPhone 4S, there have been countless rumors about the collaboration between the two companies, but neither has officially confirmed it.

During the interview, Paul Ricci was asked if his company is responsible for the fact that Siri often doesn't understand users and makes their lives difficult. Ricci confirmed that his company is partly responsible for Apple's service and that they have no partnership with Google's equivalent service.

Finally, he emphasized that although he recognizes Siri's problems at the moment, the future looks much better and he is very optimistic, especially since we will soon see developments in the voice command service in the health sector.

Watch his entire interview below, believe us, it's worth it:

Apple is expected to unveil new Siri features on June 10th at WWDC as part of its iOS upgrade.
