A 49-year-old man from North Philadelphia is in prison and must pay $1 million for stabbing his wife after learning she had “Liked” a third-party on Facebook.
Thomas Troy Young was arrested on March 10 for stabbing repeatedly his wife Carla Brown in the face and neck.
Family members reported hearing commotion upstairs in their home on March 10 and when Young left, saying he had to take his daughter to house her mother's. daughter 's Brown went upstairs to see her mother, door bedroom was locked and the room was dark.
's Brown called local authorities, who unlocked the door at 12:39 a.m. to find her in a pool of blood. According to records court, she had stab wounds toface and neck, the DailyDot reports. daughter her
The victim was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and is recovering . When she recovered, she reported that , to kill threatened her children. in addition to threatening her life , Young also
"If he went to prison for one murder it didn't matter to him whether it was one or three or more," he continued.
Young surrendered to authorities on March 15. His trial is set for May 22.
