WikiLeaks has posted some information on Twitter about activist Aaron Swartz. They say he was helping them, was in contact with Julian Assange, and they strongly believe that Swartz was a source for the organization, however no one can prove it.
WikiLeaks spokesman Kristinn Hrafnsson confirmed to CNET that the tweets from the WikiLeaks Twitter account were genuine, but declined to comment on their content. WikiLeaks said it disclosed the information “due to the Secret Service’s ongoing investigation into Aaron Swartz.”

The Secret Service has been legally ordered to investigate whether Swartz had unauthorized access to protected computers. It is very likely that the current investigation is a continuation of the investigation into Swartz's actions in the alleged crimes with which he is accused. The paradox is that this is happening after his death. The real reason that WikiLeaks decided to publish the tweets, no one knows and probably never will. Although the website's Terms of Use explicitly states that they do not reveal their sources. the tweets added fuel to the fire.
Of course, they state that "no one can prove it," but on the other hand, there are so many question marks about this particular website, which has gained the world's favor by exposing the evildoers of the world.
But none of us ordinary mortals know what games are being played behind our backs...
