Solid is the new project of Sir Timothy John Berners-Lee

Solid project: Sir Timothy John Berners-Lee, born on June 8, 1955, has to date managed to be a member of the Order of Merit, a Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire, a Fellow of the Royal Society, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Engineers, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

Of course, he is the inventor of the World Wide Web, director of the World Wide Web Consortium which oversees its continued development, and a researcher and holder of the 3Com Chair at MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL). solid

He is the director of the World Wide Web Consortium and Professor in the Department of Electronics and Computer Science at Southampton, and founder of ODI.

But in addition to all of the above, Sir Timothy John has also developed a new project called “Solid.” The name Solid comes from “social linked data” and it received a fairly respectable amount from our well-known MasterCard. Sir Timothy John intends to develop a system of interconnected data with these funds.

Although the Solid project is still in its early stages, the development team is working closely with researchers from the Qatar Computing Research Institute (QCRI) and the University of Oxford, placing great emphasis on designing it for widespread adoption on the internet.

Specifically, the Solid project is, among other things, a set of standards and vocabularies that jointly provide capabilities that are currently only available through centralized social media services.
