Instagram it has launched a new Events channel in the Explore section of its app. The new feature will allow users to watch videos from concerts and other events from around the world.
The new channel comes with a number of tools that allow users to customize their experience and watch only what they might be interested in.
Instagram says that the feature is only available in the United States, but the company plans to make it available to other countries very soon. The new channel also resembles a feature on Snapchat called Live Stories. Snapchat's feature offers images and videos posted by users at an event.

Everything shows that Instagram is determined to offer more Snapchat-inspired features, given that just a few days ago, the company updated its Android and iOS apps with a new option that allows users to zoom in while recording inside Stories, in case you didn't know, and this feature looks strikingly similar to Snapchat.
Many people have reacted negatively to the copying that seems to be happening on Instagram's part, but there are also many people who simply prefer to joke around.
