It is the latest attack by the hacking community aimed at attacking the Ku Klux Klan's blatant racism.
“We attacked the Ku Klux Klan because we believe in free speech but their beliefs are monolithic and evil,” one of the hackers said in an interview with HackRead. “We stand for constitutional rights but they want anyone who is not Caucasian to disappear from the face of the earth so we targeted the official KKK website to send a clear message that any kind of corruption will be fought! We are not fascists but we certainly do not agree with the KKK movement. These are the fascists and these are the racists!”

The attack is the latest in an ongoing campaign against the KKK that hackers began a few months ago. In the meantime, they have managed to disrupt the activities of the Ku Klux Klan. As the Epoch Times has reported, several of the organization’s websites have been taken down at times, member identities have been posted online, and recruitment efforts have been thwarted as groups like Anonymous and BinarySec continue to wage a digital war against the group!
Although the Ku Klux Klan does not have the influence it had a few years ago, it has a presence in many areas of the U.S. The average American believes that such groups are now dead, but in reality they still exist and are trying to be reborn and gain power through the Internet, and this is what the #OpKKK operation is trying to prevent.
