Hacked the accounts of Pantelidis – “Snatched” money and unreleased songs

Through a messenger report filed with the Athens First Instance Prosecutor's Office and revealed by ereportaz, the parents and Pantelidis' brother narrate in detail the way unknown actors the day after the artist's death gained access to all his accounts by stealing his intellectual property! As they state «by infiltrating» his private YouTube channel they managed to pocket around 200,000 euros, while hacking iCloud they got hold of «unpublished songs as well as original performances», that is «distillations of the soul of the deceased and products exclusively of his personal effort and talent…».

They stole the passwords one day after the death!
The family claims that the day after the funeral, on February 21, 2016, a close friend of Pantelidis entered the singer's official page on faebook in order to thank the public «on behalf of the family». However, as he discovered, the page had been removed! The surprise, huge! But it wasn't the only one. Subsequently, Pantelidis's brother attempted to enter two more of his official profiles on facebook. «And in both cases the login credentials had changed, while in the second profile the intrusion was even more drastic as those who had illegally gained access to it –and to the information it contained- had also changed the name…».
According to the deceased's family the perpetrators' goal was to take over Pantelidis' "profile" and seek financial gain from the ads. They then discovered it was not a random incident but an organized plan as the day after the death the attackers had managed to hijack the email account, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and iCloud!

They erased the unreleased songs
As noted in the complaint filed by the lawyer, Mr. Petros Kaimakami, all the singer's personal data were stored in the singer's iCloud, including videos and photos, as well as unpublished songs and original recordings that were stolen by the perpetrators! At the same time, Pantelidis' family claims that by changing the passwords on YouTube the perpetrators managed to extract huge profits. They report, in particular: "… The channel that the deceased maintained on YouTube with millions of hits, for each video as shown by the indicative prints of video clips from the YouTube channel from the commercial exploitation of which Pantelis received percentages based on the familiar contract with his record company, was especially attractive to the perpetrators…. Thus the perpetrators succeeded by influencing the computer data, deceiving the interested parties and falsely presenting themselves as legitimate administrators and beneficiaries of the channel, firstly by extracting massive sums of money through changing the account number to which the beneficiary's funds were deposited, and secondly by preventing us from obtaining knowledge about the amounts deposited for each video…». They even calculate that the perpetrators' benefit from the YouTube breach reaches an amount of €200,000 from the displayed advertisements alone!
