However, Anonymous decided to leak the data of only government employees…

As you may know, OpAfrica is underway and online hacktivists Anonymous are targeting African governments, with the aim of fighting corruption, injustice, child abuse and child labor in African countries.
As part of this operation, hacktivists have now breached the server of a South African job portal (v-report.co.za) and gained access to personal information of 33,000 job seekers, but decided to leak only the data belonging to government employees.

In an exclusive conversation with Anonymous they stated that:
"We at Anonymous would never harm civilians or job seekers, however, governments and their employees are always under our radar, so we decided to leak a small portion of their data."
After scanning the leaked data, the account credentials of 53 government employees were found. The data includes full names, government email addresses, and identification numbers.
To prove the breach, Anonymous also shared screenshots showing how the hacktivists were inside the job portal's WordPress content management system. The leaked data along with the screenshots are available here.
